The Private Indigo Session is a recurring, hands-on practice dedicated exclusively to natural indigo vat dyeing. This session is designed for participants who wish to spend focused time working with indigo—observing its behavior, refining technique, and deepening material understanding.
Each session runs within an open time window, allowing participants to arrive at a time that fits their own schedule. Rather than following a fixed group pace, participants work in a rolling format, receiving guidance while moving through the process at their own rhythm.
The focus is not on producing identical outcomes, but on learning through repeated immersion—adjusting, observing, and responding to the indigo vat. Every dyed piece reflects individual timing, handling, and decision-making.
This session welcomes both first-time indigo participants and those returning for continued practice. No two sessions are the same, and repetition is encouraged.
