Skills Section – Tie-Dye Practice Program
This program is designed to support participants completing the Skills section of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award through a structured, hands-on tie-dye practice.
Participants will engage in regular, ongoing skill development over a sustained period of time, focusing on learning through doing, reflection, and repetition rather than outcome-based results. The practice emphasizes personal responsibility, consistency, and working at one’s own pace.
The program is guided and supervised by an instructor, who is responsible for monitoring progress, recording participation, and verifying completion in accordance with DofE requirements.
Bronze Award:
13 consecutive weeks of skills practice
Silver Award:
26 consecutive weeks of skills practice
Participants may begin the program at any week, which will be recorded as their official start week. Duration is calculated from this starting point.

Regular participation over the selected award duration
